🎬 Live Playback & Navigation Controls
- Slide Navigation: Click large
← Prev or Next → buttons or use the Spacebar/Arrow keys. The slide indicator displays Slide [Current] / [Total].
- Centered Active Show Title: The header displays the loaded show name centered in gold on the header row so you always know what show is live.
- Next ("Coming Up") Preview: Displays upcoming slides with teal [Slide #] badges, character names, and dialogue lines so the operator is always prepared for the next cue.
- Jump to Slide: Enter any slide number (1-indexed) and press Enter or click
Go to jump directly. Slide 0 is the initial Blank Slide.
- Most Text ("Longest Slide"): Automatically scans the script and jumps directly to the slide with the highest character count. Use this before every show to inspect text size and line wrapping.
📐 4-Corner Projection Mapping & Calibration
- 2D Homography Warp Engine: Transforms projector output in real-time to fit non-standard, angled, keystone, or off-axis projection surfaces with 60fps GPU acceleration.
- Interactive 16:9 Widget: Drag the 4 corner handles directly (Top-Left Cyan, Top-Right Green, Bottom-Right Orange, Bottom-Left Pink) on the canvas to match physical surfaces.
- Precision Steppers: Fine-tune any corner coordinate with 0.1% accuracy in the 2x2 coordinate grid.
- White Screen Calibration Grid: Features full-screen crosshairs, 10% axis tick marks, and 1:1 proportion circles to calibrate focus, keystone, and geometry on the physical surface.
- Save / Load Venue Default: Save the physical room's alignment to disk with one click. New shows automatically inherit venue calibration defaults so you don't have to re-map every night.
- Reset Flat: Instantly resets coordinates to a flat unwarped 16:9 quad.
📝 Script Upload, Parsing & Show Management
- Scriptless Shows: Create blank shows by providing just a show name and clicking
✨ Create Show without uploading a file. Add and edit slides manually.
- Parsing Styles: Choose from Colon (
Character: Dialogue), Dash (Character - Dialogue), Next Line (character on line 1, dialogue on line 2), Next Line CAPS, Tab, Custom Delimiter (e.g., | or //), or Custom Regex.
- Direction Stripping: Toggle removal of parentheticals
(...) and brackets [...] so stage directions aren't projected to the audience.
- Dialogue Line Merging: Automatically consolidates wrapped lines and dialogue paragraphs into seamless cue chunks according to your Max Slide Length.
- Simultaneous Dialogue ((together)): Multi-speaker cues (marked with
(together)) automatically create clean multi-column layouts side-by-side on the projector.
- Inline Show Renaming: Click the pencil ✏️ icon next to any show in the Available Shows card to edit the title live and press Enter to save.
🎨 Typography, Custom Fonts & Character Styling
- Global Show Fonts: Set Font Family (Sans/Serif), Responsive Font Size (in
vw units that scale automatically with screen width), Line Spacing, Word Spacing, Letter Spacing, and Alignment.
- Custom Font Uploader: Upload
.ttf, .otf, .woff, or .woff2 font files to use custom theatre fonts on the projector without installing them on the OS.
- Per-Character Styling: Assign unique colors and fonts to individual characters. Adjust character letter spacing, word spacing, and line height with live preview, then click
Apply to update the entire script.
- Per-Slide & Per-Column Overrides: Select any slide to override font size and font family on a specific slide or column via the Active Projection editor.
🖼️ Overlays, Blackout & Stage Margins
- Instant Blackout (B): Total light shutoff on the projector stage. Does not interrupt slide tracking or navigation.
- Logo Library (L): Upload transparent PNG or SVG graphics (theatre logos, show titles, sponsors), adjust sizing, and crossfade over the presentation.
- Custom Text Overlay (T): Broadcast emergency notices, curtain announcements, or intermission countdowns across the projector without editing the script.
- Crossfade Duration: Adjust fade time slider from 0.0s (instant snap) to 5.0s (slow cinematic fade).
- Stage Margins & Tilt: Configure Top, Bottom, Left, and Right margin boundaries, plus Z-axis rotation to compensate for tilted projector mounts.
💾 Backups, Script Export & Remote LAN Access
- ⬇ TXT Export: Download the entire show as a formatted script text file for directors, stage managers, or rehearsal cue sheets.
- ⬇ HTML Backup: Single-file standalone offline backup that runs in any browser with embedded slides, homography perspective warp, and keyboard shortcuts — no Python, server, or internet needed!
